Really I do know what I am doing
They always say that a mechanics car is the last to be fixed. So goes a Web Devleopers web site. As you can see this really needs to be updated (Moved to Sharepoint).
I just have not found the time to do it.
I work on produciton web site (Intranet, Extranet and Internet) all day in SharePoint. I work for a Microsoft Gold Partner in their Information Worker area but yet my wite looks like this. I guess it have never been big priority. I will get to it soon.

OMG - Long time no post:
Life is great. I have not had anything to rant about so I have not posted. I know,
I should have updated the one or two of you that actually look at this. I will be changing my
server to a SharePoint server in the near future and then blogging will be done much better.
So will picture posting. I have a couple of pictures I need to post up here of my daughter.
With that said I will attempt to get them up as soon as possible.

Life Update part 2:
As I was typing up the previous entry, some other thoughts came to me. I realized that I had not fully accepted where I am today.
I have yet to unpack any of my boxes from my previous job. I am ready to accept
that I will not be just moving from one office to another. I need to unpack my
boxes and when I get to the next place, build my new office for its uses. It may
be just weekly, monthly or longer stays, but I need to treat it as that.
With that said It is time to unpack my penguin. This will help me to move forward. I still refer to my old company as we, my old group as us, and my old work as mine. This is no longer the case. I am not part of that company any more than I am part of any other company at this time. The sooner I do this the sooner I will be able to work efficiently. It is so different to not have somewhere to go in the morning, I need to start working, even if it just for my own purpose like this web site.
I also need to begin the next chapter. I am really enjoying this floating aimlessly but it is time to stop being and start living.
Life is really good.

Life Update:
I have officially entered the "Speaker" realm of IT. I gave my first semi-public teaching presentation last night. The subject was something that I know extremely well - Sharepoint.
It is pretty easy to talk about something I care about and know. It is
difficult to keep things to a central topic and limit it to 1 hour. I barely
scratched the surface, but did generate good questions.
I think it went very well. I am hoping to generate potential work from it. I did also come up with another Sharepoint template to create. One person shared how they used Sharepoint and another really thought that was a great need. I think I can create a pretty basic template for Sharepoint that could fit that need. I now have my own task to attempt this. I don't know whether I would "sell the template" or "sell the skills" and get the contract. both have their benefits.
The rest of life is going really well, I should be having a phone interview either this afternoon, or tomorrow morning. Taylor loves here new daycare, however she has been a little clingy lately and not eating as well as she did last week. She is cutting two more teeth and growing up too fast.
Life is too short .... Risk nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

World of Warcraft Videos:
I finally gave in and decided to spend some time on YouTube watching WOW videos. I have found one of the best. This is not only for the subject matter, but also for choreography
and content. it is titled "WOW Porn". You may have to search for it if YouTube changes the link. I will continue looking for more.

Resume Information Posted:
I have posted my resume informaiton to my website finally Resume Info is posted at this
page. Please feel free to review and read if desired. I will also listen to suggestions from others out there. My plan is to design this page to be interactive
for the end user instead of just links to word Docs. I want the page itself to be a sample of my work.

New Photos:
I have finally posted updated pictures of my daughter and my trip to Florida. Life is a beach, careful you don't get sunburned. I am actually having a lot of
fun right now. I am currenlty unemployed and enjoying it. I have a lot of oppourtunities lining up but I am not done getting my real life organized. I know I
have to get back to work someime, but for right now, I am just enjoying life.
I do miss the people at work, but I will stay in touch with them and made some great friendships. This just gives me more time to update this site with more information

Thought for the day:
As I transistion out of my current job to the unknown, I have asked myself how I ended up here.
Of course the answer became "burnout", but what is that.
A friend of mine provided me the definition:
Burnout is characterized by emotional exhaustion,
depersonalization, and a decreased sense of personal accomplishment.
I think this is completely accurate.

Thought for the day:
At some time on a hiking trip you have to stop complaining about the
weather, put down the map and start walking or you will never get to your
destination.
This is my thought for the day because I am really fighting hard against a project at work that I don't want to do. Unfortunately I don't have control over it. By all rights it should not be given to me on about 10 different levels. At some point I need to quit complaining about how much it will take and just start workgin on it. I don't have to be happy about it, but I will have to do it.

More picture of Taylor added. They are here My Baby
10-28-05:
Every so often I find a saying that I really
like. Today I found this one:
"How many legs would
a dog have is you called his tail a leg?
Four Calling a tail a leg doesn't make
it true"
-President Abraham Lincoln
Just to ponder that for a moment: Just because I want something to be true does not make it true. I wish business understood that more. The facts are the facts, how we interpret them may vary, but the fact remains the same.

Sharepoint Blog started. Please visit if interested. Thank you
I am not really sure where this page is going. I am attempting to create something useful, but I am not sure what could be useful. Since this is a personal web page it should be about me. I think I will most likely put links up for different areas of my web site. I would like to create an editorial style page. This could be any subject from the Packers, to how the city is run, to how my day has been going. I know BLOGs are the current technology that everyone is going to, but it does not seem to be what I want it to be. It will mostly become a cross between a blog and a site with information.
If you are looking for photos from Green Bay Packer Games, check my pictures out. I am sorry I don't have a zoom lens, but I do sit in row 9 so they are not that bad. I also have photos of some of the local areas around Green Bay. I am selling prints from the photos so I have only placed small copy on the internet. The full size is 2272x1704 and print to 11x7 very nicely. Contact me for more information. Because this is only a hobby, please be patient with the email.
Check out all the pictures here.
The graphics on this page were designed using grsites backgrounds, logos and button tools. Really easy to use and include in site. My compliments to the owner of that site and I recommend anyone look at that for their graphic needs.
